But only few know that Stakhanov received his award only in 1970, 35 years after his epic of heroism. The first Socialism Labor Hero was Joseph Stalin. His Golden Socialism Labor Hero Star was the only award he wear.During the title’s history which lasted 50 years more than 20 000 people of many professions were awarded the Golden Socialism Labor Hero Star.
