1951, Moscow, Tushino airfield. While MiGs and Sabers fight each other in the Korean sky Joseph Stalin takes a close look at Soviet fighters and helicopters in Moscow.

50’s were the years when the jet era began. There were hundreds of different aircraft at Tushino airfield in August 1952: squadrons of MiG-15s, Il-28 bombers, TU-4 nuclear bomb carriers, Mi-1 helicopters and many others.

Film 3. Wings of the motherland. 1955
Moscow, Tushino airfield, August 1955. Cold War is at peak. Soviet Union demonstrates its potential power: Tupolev and Myasischev strategic bombers, MiG-19 supersonic fighters, Yak-25 interceptor. Apart from its military aircraft Soviet Union shows its first jet airliner – Tu-104.
